Be bold, don't hesitate, edit.  There is a historical record of each and every modification and edit, nothing can be lost.  If a change is made for the worse, we can simply revert it.  The use of the system should be pretty self explanatory.  The tabs along the top control the site.  You want to edit a page, simply click on edit, look at a past variation, click on history.  Every page has a corresponding discussion page, this is so that changes can be debated and discussed, how the implementation worked, if it was good, does it need to be reverted, etc.  Sure plenty of it can happen in person and thats fine, but this gives a place to track such discussion if necessary.
